How do I reset my password?
On the login screen tap Forgot your password? and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
My progress isn't saving — what should I do?
Make sure you have an active internet connection. A Star Japanese saves your progress to the cloud automatically after each lesson or quiz. If you're offline, your progress will sync the next time you open the app with a connection.
How do learning streaks work?
You earn a 🔥 streak after every consecutive day of studying Japanese. If you miss a day, your streak resets. Challenge yourself to build the longest streak and earn special badges for reaching milestones like 7, 30, and 100 days.
Can I see my progress on the web?
Yes! Create a free account in the app, then sign in at japanese.astarlearner.com to see your XP, level, streak, per-module progress, and the global leaderboard on a full dashboard.
How do I turn off study reminders?
Go to the Profile tab → scroll to Study Reminders → toggle off. You can also disable notifications for A Star Japanese in your iPhone Settings → Notifications.
How do I delete my account?
Email us at support@astarlearner.com with the subject "Delete my account" and we'll permanently delete all your data within 30 days.
The app crashed — what should I do?
Try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, delete and reinstall A Star Japanese from the App Store — your progress is saved to the cloud and will be restored when you log back in. If you're still having issues, email us with your device model and iOS version.
I found a mistake in the lesson content — how do I report it?
We take content accuracy seriously. Please email us at support@astarlearner.com with the lesson name and the error you found. We review and correct all reported issues promptly.
