〜とあって — "Given That... (Special Circumstance)"

とあって explains a resulting reaction or situation by pointing to a notable, special circumstance — "being as it's X, naturally Y follows."

Pattern: [noun/plain form] + とあって

人気アイドルの来店とあって、店は大混雑だった。
= Given that a popular idol was visiting, the shop was packed.

初めての海外旅行とあって、彼女はとても興奮していた。
= Being her first overseas trip, she was very excited.

三連休とあって、高速道路はどこも渋滞していた。
= With it being a three-day weekend, the highways were jammed everywhere.

とあって vs ので/から: ので/から state a plain cause-effect; とあって specifically frames the cause as a NOTABLE, special circumstance that naturally explains an unusual result (a crowd, excitement, congestion).
