も replaces は or が to mean "also" or "too."

Structure: [Noun] も [same thing]

わたしも がくせいです。
— I am also a student.

これも いくらですか?
— How much is this one too?

やまださんも きました。
— Yamada-san also came.

も for emphasis (even):
こどもも わかります。

— Even children understand it.

Double も:
AもBも — both A and B

コーヒーもおちゃもすきです。

— I like both coffee and tea.

Negative も:
AもBも〜ない — neither A nor B

コーヒーもおちゃもすきじゃないです。

— I like neither coffee nor tea.

Replacing は:
わたしはがくせいです。 → わたしもがくせいです。

(I am a student → I am also a student)

You simply replace は with も. The same swap works with が → も.
